Death Valley Yeti
Overall I did not see a category for general or just out of the norm shots on NPN, so I thought I'd post this mud pattern I found in Death Valley near the sand dunes that was well over two feet long. I figured it just might be the left sole print of a sandal from the Yeti-Sasquatch-Bigfoot-Abonibal Snowman? :jump:

This is cool! It does look like a footprint. The texture here is great. Good eye, Paul.

Did you consider converting this to B&W? It has the potential for several different BW interpretations, I think.

Neat shot!

Fantastic image, Paul. As you know I love photographing details and so I can really make a connection with this one.

Thanks Preston and Anil for the comments on this image. I had fun setting this idea up for kind of a good laugh, although, I will admit I still wanted the image to be of good quality too.

Paul,

I think this image would make a very nice print! It is somewhat whimsical (which is part of its allure), but is very nicely designed.

With a few minutes of my Photoshop talents I think we would really find this is actually the imprint left by Homer Simpson's great great great great grandpappy. ...David

Too funny David......thanks for the laugh. Just maybe I should have taken a small sample for carbon dating aspects! :jump:
