Buffalo River Canoe Trip
A couple of weeks ago I canoed down the Buffalo River. Put in at Steel Creek and out at Kirby. Beautiful Trip. Thought I would share this one.
Nikon D200 - 70-200 VR lens @ 130mm - ISO 400 - 1/100 second @ f/9 -
Picture shot from the canoe.
Good talking with you Glenn. Keep up the great work.

When I came back and looked at the image after posting, it is darker than what I had using photoshop. Not sure what happened.

Beautiful photograph David, although the refection might have been improved with more calm conditions. Still, I like your composition and nice fall color.

BTW, you probably took out at Erbie, rather than Kirby... :wavey: Thanks for posting!

Now that's what I'd call the "golds" of fall David. I like your comp here, the placement of the fg rock gives the Buffalo a nice "S" flow. Well done, thanks for posting.

This really has a nice golden glow, and is really a beautiful scene. You said it looked darker after you converted it from PS - but I'm not sure I would want it any brighter. Thanks for posting!

It was a great canoe trip. And I was wrong about the take out point. It was Kyles' Landing. I mixed Kyles and Erbie up and came up with Kirby. I guess that is why I use pictures instead of words. I don't spell so well. Glad you all enjoyed it.
