Thought I'd share something different. I took this about two months ago along the east side esplanade.

You know, Eric, I'm glad you started posting again, I like your shots and take on things. Here, the pedestrian bridge is different for this type of shot and then you've tucked it neatly into the curve of the bridge and the far shore. I like that type of thinking and "seeing".

Probably the nicest one I have seen from down there - especially like the sunset light.

Really a great place for a city scape - the limited colors in the sky are perfect due to the vivid colors in the lights of PDX and the reflecting water. Really well seen and captured.
Whoops, had an extra "e" in my name and didn't even notice. . . Thanks Eric, it's just starting out (as you saw) but so far it's been fun.
Once I get going a little more I'd love to feature some photographers from around Portland, or maybe do a question and answer interview via email. I'm really impressed with the photos on this forum.

Well seen Eric, I also like the position and curve of the walkway.

I was down there just the other day and I'm a bit jealous I couldn't stay around longer and hit some of those twilight hours.
What a great composition, too. The bank of clouds and the negative space in front of the walkway really balance each other out.
