Can't seem to work out what this is. A female Reed Bunting is my guess? Sure someone will put me straight.
Taken at Brandon Marshes in Warwickshire yesterday.
Miffed about the branch shadow across the back but had no choice (except not to post it of course!). Compositonally, perhaps a bit more at the bottom and less up the top?

A very well crafted photo, super sharp and lovely light. My feeling composition wise is a little more space on the bottom and lefthand side. I think its a female reed bunting too.

I think its a fine image apart from the already mentioned shadow, and that could be made less obvious with some selected adjustments, compositionally I feel the tail is a little close to the edge of frame, a minor nit though.
It is a Reed Bunting, the grey on the rump and black on the crown suggests to me that its a first winter male, females usually have a much browner rump and duller crown that has a brownish tinge to it.

I would have liked a bit more at the bottom but i'd have to add canvass and don't fancy it with this BG

I go with female Reed Bunting as well.
I like the second crop but prefer the first image for colour etc.
