From a spring trip a couple years ago on the way to Anza-Borrego. I'm thinking of heading down there this weekend or next, but I might wait another month if the birds are likely to be more numerous. I've never been there in November, but one of the main attractions for me is the solitude, and I expect I'll find that.

This is quite creative and unique. The tension created by the warm/cool contrast is very alluring. I feel as if I'm standing on the hill watching the sunrise. Good job!

This is really nice, John. Love that glow. Simple and effective composition.

John, a great elevated view of this lower desert environment. I started going to this area 15 years ago, last year it seemed to be overrun with shutter bugs everywhere. I still managed to find an area away from everyone else and enjoyed the day!
