Gorgeous light and the lichen covered rocks are superb. Where is this taken? Would've liked one more bird as odd numbers usually work better in a pic but i do like it a lot. Bet this looks great printed to A2.

Wow, really nice. Interesting John's comment on odd numbers, having just joined a photo club it seems odd numbers especially 3 is good in a pic, wierd stuff. I'm sure it will be explained.

Fantastic!

I've never been a believer in that "3 is better" stuff - just seems like Photography Club nonsense to me. If the shot looks good it looks good, regardless of whether it has odd or even numbers of subject matter.

And IMO this shot looks good. Delightful image.

The light, colour, and background are great in this one, the crop sets it off nicely.

Being in the catering trade. Odd numbers on a plate is always more presentable than even. So same principle I guess. However I was just glad to see the two of them.

Hello Craig

Nice picture - I think it is only slightly let down by the blurred beak on the left?

Hi Craig a very nice birdscape photo. The blue BG, the light and thsoe wonderful lichen really make the photo stand out. You almost don't need the birds

Hi Craig
Great Picture and I agree with Helge's comments and for me the Birds are placed perfectly in the frame. :toast: :toast: :toast:

Hi Craig, all has been said really. Wonderful light and I also like the comp and colours. Didn't know about the odd numbers thing so may have a look at that. Just pleased to get one bird generally

I have nothing further to add to what has already been said with the exception of my congratulations on a great image.

Beautiful light and what a superb perch, full of detail and interest.
Pano crop works superbly and would agree with John G that a big print would look striking.
