Hi there :wavey:

Theres a place i know, that when the tyde goes out it shows the mud flatts.Which in turn shows all the channels that helps drain the water. They all look like "canyons" in the mud  .

20D + EF100-400 L IS

C & C welcome

Thanks for looking

Well the composition certainly works for me. Maybe the highlights at the upper right third might benefit from a little burning in to tone them down a bit - but I guess that is personal taste. Certainly a nice B&W study that I would have been very pleased to have taken.

Hi Alan
it looks like it was done with Pencil quite artistic. :toast:

Excellent patterns and textures Alan. And the lead in lines work well too.

I like this a lot, very well done but would agree on the highlight work suggested.

Great idea - I didn't think of that while lying on the mudflats last week...!

Love the patterns and texture and the monochrome rendition.
If you get a further oppurtunity at this spot,I bet a polarizer would work wonders in reducing a liitle of the reflected light on the top and right-hand side of the scene.

Well seen. :toast:

Just goes to show that a good eye can spot shots in the most unlikely locations.

I like this a lot and would have bookmarked it as a possible winner of the fortnightly challenge (where did that go?)
