Twin Falls
Shot this at clifty falls this evening, got caught in torrential downpour and found out how well the d200 is put together. I think I would have really liked this image had I not cut off the waterfall, but you live and learn.

Bernie,

Is there anyway to get in front of that tree? I'd also look at this in B & W --might be nice?

Jack I do have some others that were in front of the tree but I had too wade out to about knee deep water to get these shots and I was a little uncomfortable with my camera and lenses, so I did not feel I took the time to really get the shot I wanted. I did play around with some B&W images as well and I will post some of the other stuff later and maybe you can take a look and tell me what you think ....Thanks

Bernie,

That's the thing about "critiquing" an image. One never knows the weather, terrain conditions, what the longest or shortest focal length the photographer has etc. Under the conditions you did the best you could!

Having been in similar conditions, I wouldn't have waded out there either! I remember drowning a N90S in the Pacific Ocean once,

The waterfall being cut off doesn't bother me at all. However the tree limb is pretty distracting. Looking forward to seeing the one without the limb.

BTW, where is Clifty Falls?
