Turret Arch...
This was our first shoot on our trip to Utah. I can't seem to get it to look like it does on my screen with the web resize...? Anyway, cliche as it may be I thought it was an awesome morning. 5D,17mm,iso50,4stop SGND
Thanks for looking

There is a reason shots like this are "cliche", they are incredibly wonderful places to shoot and are work photographing. This is a very nice shot. I liek the angle of the rock across the photo, and you've got nice clouds in the sky. Well done.

You know Jreremy. I have shot this scene myself 3 times, and I still love seeing images from here. Simply a great place to spend a morning and grab some pixels....

I think this is a great comp...

I'm with Tomas on this one. You could come here every morning for a year and very few would not be great to look at. The awesome light and clouds make this really beautiful. Great clarity, Jeremy.... I bet this shows up in ESS

It doesn't matter if this shot is the same as every other one taken here, unless you are only taking these for us. 99% of the general public has never seen or heard of this place and they will be amazed at it, despite our cliche markings.
I for one, think it is a very nice image.

Thanks yall. I just can't get over the problems with it though and will undoubtly rework the image. I just need to figure out why the turret looks so wierd to me.

Jeremy,
You've got some excellent shots of the "arches" in this mini -series you've been posting. The diagonal of the arch against the sky, followed by the framing on the 2nd arch inside the first, is eyecandy for the old eyeballs!! You weather must have been great while you were down there......your sky color and clouds really add to the impression that the shots make on the viewer! Nice, very nice!
