Well, I was supposed to head out there this weekend, but due to scheduling issues, it looks like I'll now be going over Thanksgiving.
Can anyone give me a status update on various Southern Utah icons? I'll probably spend Turkey Day in Moab, but after that I'm open to travelling anywhere between there and the Zion area.
Bryce - good snow yet? Cedar Breaks - closed yet? Good stuff to see and do around Zion at this time of year?
Other suggestions at this time of year that don't cost much beyond food and lodging (i.e. don't require a guide - like Paria - unless you're willing to join up for a field trip... )
Help!

Les:
The cottonwoods are all but leafless around Moab. However, the winter light is working it's magic on the sandstone in the area. We've had day after day of killer puffy clouds, too. Crowds are gone and trails are empty. Come on out!

Sweet! Please keep the weather as-is. We’re heading out there after the Turkey dinner – if I can keep awake!
