I was told that WWS does customized lens coats. I'm only asking cos i understand the Lenscoat one doesn't quite fit the 300-800 very well. Has anyone using the 300-800 ever got WWS to do one for them?

thanks in advance guys

Hi Kiat

I understand Kevin will quote you for a one-off if you give him the lens dimensions.

Hi Kiat,

I had Kevin make me one up about 2 weeks ago for my 200-400 and I am well happy with it.

Hi Kiat,
I have both WWS and Lenscoats for my Canon 500mm , the Lenscoats are a very tight fit and are also very thin and there an absolute bugger to fit , where as Kevins are a lot thicker
and therefore offer greater protection and they fit in minutes as opposed to an hour for the bl@*dy Lenscoats , I paid £80 for the Lenscoats and Kevin only charged me £43 + p&p and
he gave me a free set of t/c covers into the bargain.

Regards
Andy...

looks like kevin's my man. Next question.....anyone has dimensions for the 300-800mmm

Its embarrassing but my lens is stuck in singapore while i'm here in london. I blame BA for that but i'll be reunited with it in 3weeks time! Anyone can measure out the dimensions for me? I'll buy you a beer if u're in london! :toast:

PS: I'm using the canon version although i'm not sure how much of a dif there would be from the nikon one.
