Was working on the computer when I looked out the window. The clouds were pretty amazing. Did not do anything special in photoshop. Pretty nice when Mother Nature does the work for you.

You're killing me Dan!!! I saw a great glow out my one far away, small window and went to look. Wow! Alas, no camera! Glad you captured it though, awesome images!!

Nice shot's Dan!
I looked out and saw the sunset, but think I was a little late to get the bright reds, but I did take a couple from my backyard.

I also took note, and realized I had something else to do and didn't take any pics of the amazing sky down here in Pueblo. But here's a prediction: Same time tomorrow, similar glow. (Hey, a boy can dream!)

I practically cried when I looked out my office window, firmly ensconsed within the confines of urban Centennial and miles away from a decent landscape, and saw this sunset.
I have something under a dozen decent sunset images in my collection, and tonight's (and last night's, in a limited area) clouds were TDF. Brett - schedule me some nice puffy clouds for sunset this holiday weekend!

Well, working the graveyard right now, so woke up just in time to see the display to my north. I wasn't prepared but got off a handheld shot or two just to record the mammatus clouds--pretty unusual to see them in fair weather in November but it was pretty unstable up there this eve. Pikes peak is at the bottom left.

I too saw this one last night while in the middle of processing some recent shots. I looked out my office door and knew right away it was going to be good as everything was glowing this gold. I ran for my cam and went out in the backyard. 14 mins later my Mom's calling me on my phone screaming 'Get your camera!!!! get outside" Ummm Mom, I already got it lol

Great shots Dan. I really like the second one. It has a surreal feel with the island in the middle. Robbie

Nice shots, everyone. That was definitely an amazing sunset. I took it in from the front porch. The battery was in the charger and the memory card still in the computer from the morning shoot at RMNP, so I just decided to sit on the porch and take it in.

Here is one shot http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/9400/apict864601gk8.jpg I still can't figure out how to embed it here :( Why in the heck doesn't this board take normal BB code? :(
