Hello Barry
A belated welcome from me too.
There seems to be a dust spot below the bird's chest, apart from that, a decent image in what appears to be harsh light. Is it cropped? I just think a little more space on the RHS might improve the composition slightly.
Best wishes
Phil

Thanks Phil your spot on the light was harsh my gear was new at the time and I'm still very low down on the learning curve. I tend to go for as many shots as I can and hope one or two will work. I did crop but I cant recall how much. I have a great deal to learn on the prep side. I'll try and retrace my steps.
Kind regards Barry

Hi Barry,
This is a great shot. The bird is a good size in the frame to see its details. Would it perhaps take another pass of USM?
