I'm going to post this in ESS, but I thought I'd get your oppinions here first. Jeremy and I saw this driving toward the Narrows and decided to get out for a minute and grab this real quick.
It looks a bit desaturated because of sharpening for the web.

Zack: I like the color and the contrast.

Well I was the only one who voted for #1 rather than #2 on your last(?) post so take this suggestion with a grain of salt: I actually like this better with the cottonwoods on the far right cropped out...make it a square rather than a pano. The primary strength of this image, IMO, is the contrast of the yellow against the dark BG and that is emphasized more by getting rid of the yellow on the right which I find a little distracting. Back to my Scotch.

I agree with Mark.
I'll be into the Scotch a little later.

Yeah I have to agree that cropping the right to make it more square would look better too. I wouldnt have thought so upon first impression, because it seems like the tree kind of points to the right naturally. but Mark is definately right, the winning element of this picture is the color against the dark background and that is highlighted better with the crop. Beautiful image!

You know, Zack, you could keep the pano aspect if you darkened the Cottonwoods on the right, made them less noticeable.

I think square would be the stronger comp, Zack. Love the contrasts.....
