I made my first visit to the nature center recently, even though it is only 3 miles from my house and I was excited to see two of Bill Dark's pictures hanging on the wall! Way to go Bill, they are great shots. Can you tell us where the fall waterfall shot was taken and the shot of the Lady Slipper?

If you get a chance to stop by the Nature Center at Fort Chaffee, make sure you check out Bill's Pictures. By the way the nature center is a pretty cool place too!

Thanks Tom! The new Janet Huckabee Nature Center is quite a nice facility that just opened in September. I'm sure the kids from the Ft Smith and surrounding areas will love going out there. It's really first class all the way.

The fall waterfall shot is a scene from Big Devil's Fork of Twin Falls (Richland Ck) that I took two years ago. The Lady Slippers are from an area very near Tim Ernst's place that was sold recently, so I'm hoping that I'll be able to continue to visit them with the new owner's permission.

There are actually several other shots of mine on display at the Nature Center, just no name indicating the artist. That's OK - they were taken four or five years ago, and, well, you know how those old shots start looking after awhile...
