Hey, folks. I am a Seattle local looking for some new places to shoot wildlife. My favorite spot has been the Union Bay Natural Area for a while (also called Montlake Fill). Even those this tiny gem is amazing for its size and location, I'd like to expand my work into new areas.

I am familiar with Discovery park and Nisqually NWR, but even in those areas if you have suggestions as to particular locations I'm all ears.

 :wavey:

I also spend considerable amounts of time East of the cascades in Washington, and will happily share some great locations with all of you.

There are so many, I'll list a few and then recommend that you check out these links for more:
NWPhotographers Favorite Locations forum
NWPhotographers MAPS

Theler Wetlands in Belfair, WA, on the Kitsap Peninsula
Skagit River
Juanita Bay Park, Kirkland, WA

All of these and more are spoken of in multiple posts on the forums at www.nwphotographers.net . Members of NWP visit these locations regularly and post photos and share conditions of these locations regularly. Right now, there is a lot of buzz along the Skagit River.
