Another Bittern

Hi to all,
Another Bittern from Potteric Carr , taken this afternoon from Piper Marsh Hide.
I would have prefered more room at the top and a less central subject , but you can't have everything when dealing with such a wary bird.

Full frame , Levels in CS2

Canon 20D , 500mm F4 L IS , 1.4T/C , W/Hv2 , Gitzo 1325

Hi Andy,
Looks like I should get myself down that way. Cool shot, my tips would be a little off the lefthand side and a concern over the virtual feet, putting the camera in portrait mode would have helped here.

Thanks for the advice , might be best to visit Potteric mid week and steer clear of the weekends as today was an absolute scrum in Piper Marsh hide , these hardcore twitchers
are an unruly bunch , nearly had my equipment knocked over twice

Another good shot but I think without the 1.4x it would have more room in the frame both top and bottom but still be a great shot.

BTW, the goldies were awesome at Old Moor y/day.
