My wife and I got chased out of the woods at Pt. Reyes today by fairly heavy rain. I hadn't listened to the forecast and was in denial about the meaning of the magnificent "red sky in the morning" we experienced, so we were only minimally prepared. But what the heck, bring it on!
(This shot's actually from a spring snow up near Carson Pass, btw....)
Nice image, John. This looks like Hope Valley near the Luther Pass turnoff. If I'm incorrect, this still a nice spot. I would imagine it will look like this tomorrow!
It's raining pretty good here in the Foothills, and it's pretty chilly. We might have a snow flurry as the front passes through.
No! I don't want it to be winter...Fall is my season!
Nice post card winter scene here John. So far as seasons, for me it is Fall, Winter, Spring, you can drop summer.

Beautiful shot. Its been beautiful in the neighborhood today, but as you know it's been pretty rainy that last few days. Glad to see you're enjoying the rain and snow else where :)
