Does anyone know of any companies or indeed individual photographers who run wildlife photo holidays? I do a great deal of diving trips, but would like to do more land based stuff. I'd like to do trips with more advanced photographers if anyone knows of anyone I'd love to hear about them.
Thanks

Gavin,
If you prefer one to one tuition I cannot recommend enough Neil McIntyre in Aviemore.
When I was still into photography I went on his workshops on 3 or 4 occasions and always came away with excellent photos.
He has excellent knowledge of the Aviemore/Cairngorm area, as well as other parts of Scotland.
We don't mind you all asking for info and giving your (polite and factual!) views on others who run courses...but please stay away from blowing your own trumpets otherwise we might just read that as a bit of self-advertisment/promotion...which we'd have to frown upon.
If you want to blow your own trumpets, then do so off-forum please!! We try to keep NPN and UKNP clear from adverts/commercialisation - please respect that.

I realised as soon as I posted that would be the case so deleted my post

Thanks for the info. I thought it might prompt a bit of self promotion so sorry if I got any of you into trouble.
Firstly, I’m not a professional so there is no gain in it for me.
As of the 14th of April, and everything being even, I will be on the Greek island of Lesvos for at least four weeks.
I will be staying in a self catering apartment, where in the backyard, which is a Olive Orchard, where I usually construct a pool and feeding station, which is worked from a hide which is left in place for the whole of my stay.
When not working the “pool”, most of the photography is taken from a car. When not working from a car, then its from other hides which I set up. To photograph, for example, Bee-Eaters, Black-Winged Stilts, rock Nuthatch etc..
If you are interested then I have put together a small presentation of 30 images which I took in 2004, which I would gladly send to you.
There is no better way of learning than doing it yourself, and learning from your own mistakes.
Now, if you are still interested and want to tag along, then you are more than welcome.
