Same morning as the Hale Church Shot
This image was taken within a few minutes either before or after Josh's previous shot ( I think it was after since the sun looks a bit brighter). The angle is just to the right of the Church. The breeze slackened up a little and let us see a real abundance of color and good reflection. If I remember right it didn't last long! I wonder what this would look like using PS's watercolor effect? I'll have to take a pan ahot over there someday.

I'd love to get about 10 of us over there in ideal conditions and see how many interesting and different shots we would all come away with. If I am still here in the spring maybe I'll have a party and have you all over.

Nice reflection Jack. I'm not sure about the watercolor filter idea, I generally don't gravitate towards such things though, so that just may be me. I think it's painterly as is...just my $0.02. I feel your pain about the wind. My fall shoot was the windiest shooting weather that I dealt with all year...not the best when you're shooting large format. But, we do what we can, right?

I like the idea of a pano at this location--it's always a struggle to get more than two buildings in any one shot. Have to give it a try next fall. Great colors, Jack. I really like the way the dark trees radiate from the center.
