Blue Hen this fall
I can't decide on this one, it was taken early this fall. There wasn't much water flowing and it was a bright sunny day so I was a bit limited but the reflection caught my eye.

Martin,

You need to get up here in mid-late October next year whether I'm here or not. There will be a lot more water and more leaves. However, you can't beat that light reflection on the rocks. I don't even mind that log in the image. It kind of says where you are. (It's since been removed by (probably) a photog who didn't want it in the image.

Keep in touch.

I actually find it more interesting because of the low water. The sheen on the rocks is wonderful and could probably make a nice intimate photograph in and of itself. Your composition is effective with the falls in the distance, and the ledge encapsulating the scene to some extent. Very nice.

I'm not sure what's not to like, personally! I think Joel has a great comment about the possible intimate composition included in this as well....

The reflection really makes this work, Martin. I have lots of images from Blue Hen and one of my favorites has a reflection similar to the one you captured. Every image I see of this place looks a little different. That's what makes it such a great place to shoot.
