Flatirons today
Yippee! Snow on the Front Range Prairie.

This image was taken at sunrise above the Doudy Draw trailhead. I was lying on the ground in order to position the Flatirons underneath the branch on the right.

Nice color indeed. Good job on working to get that angle.

Sweet! I was up at the crack of dawn myself today; but I tell you what we don't get such insane morning light out here on the west side. I used to love it when this happened in Boulder.

Nice color and glow!
I got up early to get Pike's Peak from the Rampart range but my truck didn't like the cold. I couldn't find any good vantages in my car. By the time I got down to Garden of the Gods I'd missed the sunrise and had to go to work. Bummer!

I'm glad someone got something this morning!

Nice composition.. I don't believe I've ever seen anything close to this before.

Nice shot. Like the light on the mountains.

Brrrrr! I get a chill just looking at it. Very nice.

I really like the theme and "feel" of this shot! You might try avoiding the merge between branches and mountain next time, though - just a small nit pick... Love that pastel light!

Lovely scene and a great, fresh perspective Dave! It's snowing again now - hopefully tomorrow's sunrise will have something nice in store for us again.

EWWWWW Niiiiiiiiice! I was wishing I was up in Boulder this morning actually! My Daughter tells me it's beautiful from the College view.
