Tanner Creek detail
I've always enjoyed the challenge of picking out some interesting details from the countless choices available at a place like a gorge stream. How does this work?

This was with D200, 28-70 @ 70mm, polarizer, ISO 100, F/2.8, 1/5 sec.

This is really cool, Mike - from the swoop of water, to the colored stones showing through the clearer parts....

Again, with better whites. Thanks Ned.

The second one is way better, Swami. The rocks showing through are cool.

Second one is better IMHO also. It almost looks like an ocean wave.

Yeah, the second one is great. I share your enthusiasm for this type of shot. These are fun to do, to experiment with the current, water texture and DOF. :wavey:
