Avalanche Gorge
A different perspective from the usual of Glacier's Famous Avalanche gorge. A little tricky to crawl down the ledges for this perspective, but worth it I thought. Beautiful blue glacial water flows through a limestone cavern below old growth Cedar and Fir forest. Thanks for any comments/suggestions.

Very peaceful, Marc. The contrast of the water color and rock color is wild!

Great color and lines. Good job on the crawling down to get it.

If Ricky Likes this, then it's got to be good. That swirl oon the left of the foreground rock draws the eyes in. Very cool shot.

I actually took about fifty shots from here. I was trying to accomplish two things simutaneously in the same image. Get the branches to stop moving around and get that swirl in the water flow. Finally, it happened. Thank goodness for digital. That would have been expensive with film and I could have only guessed the results.

Really nice Marc. Everything still along with the swirl in the water works great.. love that color of water from the glaciers.

Marc, this is very well done.....its amazing the way the water has carved out the Limestone...Nature is so incredible the way it works...

Wow, Marc, this is really awesome. So much to adore. Love the blue in the water, how it contrasts with the red in the rocks. And this is one instance for sure (IMO) where the white super-blurred water really adds to the image in a very creative way.

Really nice. . . my first impression was "no way that's real!" because it was so calm and had such vivid colors.
