I took a day away from the slopes and drove north, some nice weather that was constantly changing.

Paul, I like the opening clouds that show some blue sky and think the scrub grass at the bottom has a wonderful texture. I just wish there was a better way of tying the scene together.

Very moody image, Paul. The yellow bushes sprinkled throughout the FG are a nice touch as they liven up an otherwise dark mood. Nice work!

Nice color, especially given the time of year. I like the layering effect in the composition. It might be an illusion, but the scene seems to tilt left to my eyes just a little.

Wow, thanks everyone for the feedback!! (Darren thanks for the spelling and pixel lessons as well, I need to change my default LightRoom settings  ). And Jack, great eye, I see the same thing now that you mention it.

Really like the spirit and feedback and such on this site. Now if we could just organize an afternoon get together :toast: in Ft Collins sometime!

Nice shooting, Paul. I love the layers and the color in the foreground, and the overall moody feel of the scene.
