EDIT: I'm deleting species names as people provide them!!

I enjoy working on my website almost as much as birding and taking photos. I've spent more time processing photos and working on my website in the past few months than I have shooting. One of the primary features of my site are individual informational pages on each of the ~415 species that have been found in South Dakota.

I've done pretty well in getting photos for those pages, but there are 55 species where I have no photo, or only a very poor photo. I'm looking for anyone who would like to help.

Note I have no monetary stake in any photos that you'd provide. I'm not trying to profit from anybody else's work. They're for information purposes only, as much of my website just provides bird and birding information. The photos are generally small...500 pixels in the max direction is as big as they get. Note every photo is credited, you can have a copyright symbol and your name on the photo itself, and I would also put a link to your website or e-mail (your choice) right on the page for that species. Here's an example of one of my species pages, and the credit I provide the photographer:

The list of species I need is below. Note that my website averages about 2,500 - 3,000 individual page hits a day, and that if any inquiries are made about a photo that's not mine, I immediately forward it to the photographer. With that, as well as the link to your homepage (or multiple links if you provide more than one species photo), there's some potential for more exposure for your work.

If you're interested in helping, just e-mail me a low-res photo, information on where and when it was taken, and what link or e-mail you'd like on the species page. As I just have dial-up internet, I'd appreciate it if you'd only send a few at a time. I'll come out here and delete this post once most of my needs have been met.

Species of need are:

Blue Grouse
American Golden Plover
Snowy Plover
Pomarine Jaeger
Little Gull
Ancient Murrelet
Common Ground Dove
Boreal Owl
Chimney Swift
White-throated Swift
Pinyon Jay
