What a difference a day makes. This is an image I managed to take on Sunday when I could stand up!
As I said in my comments to Deans picture the seals were way more intelligent than we were! If you look closely at the full size images the grains of sand show up as bars even with a shutter speed of 1/1250s! Comments are as always welcoms. The technical details are:
- Camera: Canon EOS 1D Mk II N
- Lens: Canon 500mm f4 L IS
- Aperture: f4.5
- Shutter Speed: 1/1250s
- ISO: 400
- Metering: Evaluative
- Exposure Control: Aperture Priority
- Camera Support: Gitzo 1325 + Wimberley Gimbal Mk 1
- RAW Conversion: RawShooter Premium
- Post Processing: Levels, Curves, Contrast, USM
Many thanks for looking
Adrian

You're a mad fella Adrian, but good result showing the harsh conditions.
