Lovely shot, Graeme.
Did you manage to see or photograph any Choughs?

Nice shot Graeme - lovely pose & exposure,
Went to Yarner on the w/e and saw hardly anything - v.unusual! just a few Coal/Great tits and not enough for any queuing so they were just in and gone.
Shame as it was first time in about 3/4 months I've gone out to do some photography!

Hi Graeme
Bit of a scruffy individual but the light and the detail in this image are superb!
You dont normally see these posted here,I dont know why, the eye alone is worthy of a shot, one of the best jackdaw images i have seen with superb detail, shame its such a scruffy looking individual

I agree with Dave - one of the best Jackdaws I have seen - great detail in the black plumage. I quite like the scruffiness - they always seem scruffy "jack the lad types" to me anyhow

It's the scruffiness that sets it apart from the others. Superb detail and an eye to die for.

And he's not scruffy - he's just 'full of character'
