Antelope Canyon and Coyote Buttes
Although Mr Beiser couldn't join us we did have a great trip to Upper Antelope Canyon, Coyote Buttes (The Wave), Horseshoe Bend and Arches NP last weekend, fantastic photo ops with the snow and red sandstone. We had a great time. Highly recommended and the crowds are smaller in chilly December.

Looks like a fine time without me :wavey: Next time I will go - and btw, nice shot.

This pic is interesting I think, low temps had frozen the sand and water into tree-like shapes. Thanks to Chris for spotting this at The Wave. The frozen oak leaves are a bonus.

Hi Bill. I like your second pic the best. This last one has a nice comp, but lacks technically I think. The dynamic range is too large for my taste, as I cannot see the detail in >1/2 of the photo. I would also increase the sharpness, as the photo seems soft. Hope this helps.

Thanks Momo, good feedback, you are right of course, the exposure range is way too great but I really liked the effect just the same, the rock shapes fire the imagination and the colors are amazing. I may not have sharpened the image so it is probably a little soft.
