I posted this one in color a couple years ago. Thought I'd play around a bit and see how it looks in B&W. What do you think?

I like it. Don't know what I would do to make it any better. Prety darn cool shot!

Great, really shows off the hugeness of the mountain.

Eric, see that "U" in the snow middle of the photo just down from the top? I'd crop that out. With that gone the face look like a goldang honkin' big alpine wall reaching up to the sky! After that, send me the file so I can print one for myself!

Mr crop(Mark H) does it again. His suggestion IMHO is right on.

Thanks everyone. Wow, it's really interesting what a small crop can do. Thanks for the tip.

Honestly, I think it looks better with the top of the glacier still there. It gives the image a sense of depth that is otherwise lost - sort of drawing me in to the top of some massive ice sheet that might be covering the continent and watching it plunge into oblivion.

I totally remember this Eric. Hmmm...crop or no crop. I think it is fine as is, but I can also go for the crop. I have to say that I llike this, it shows off that impressive glacier...but I'm not all over it. It seems to be missing something overall that I just can't put my finger on.

This is my favorite of all your work, Eric. Magnificent image.

B&W baby!!! It gives it some power... I think all mountain shots carry more weight when in B&W. But I love B&W shots anyway.
