From my Santiago Trip
I had one weekend to roam around Santiago while I was down there on a business trip. It would've been foolish not to go to the Andes and fortunately there was a tour guide willing to take me to the mountains ( not knowing spanish was a major handicap ). This peak is called El Morado and the glacier to the left is San Francisco glacier. I took this shot on the way to the base of the peak. This is shot in bad light as I didn't have an option of waiting for good light.

Thanks for viewing.

Pradeep,
I'd be interested in seeing the rest of your photos from Chile, as I'll be going there in Feb. Have you posted them to a web site or some other viewing place?
Thanks,
Nick

Great comp, Pradeep. I think it could benefit from some sharpening for the web though.

Very dramatic landscape of an exotic place. It looks like there recently could have been a glacier that receded. Global warming?

Erick, Rick - Thank you.
Nick - I'm yet to post the pictures of chile on my website. Will definintely post a note here when I get it done.
Harald - The glacier has receded yes - but am not sure why.
