Rodeo Cove
Being new to the Bay Area I am still trying to figure out the best times of day, season or tides to photograph some of my recent 'discoveries'.

This is Rodeo Cove in the Golden Gate NRA, one of those classic Bay Area spots that you find in Rowell's portfolio. for me this shot is still a work in progress, I need a few winter storms to wash some of the sand away and expose the rocks, I need some more nice clouds, just like these if possible!
For this shot I readjusted the possition of the driftwood and waited for the right wave.

Enjoy!

Enrique, looks like a really neat place to get some more images from in the future. This looks really nice and I think the minimal cloud cover works well overall. Excellent detail in the sand and the small piece of driftwood too.

Nice image from this place. The foreground driftwood is really nice. We have some good storms today. Sand is being washed away as I write this.

I'm never one to add props but such is my own decision and style haha. Very nice dusk sky color though it won't reflect off the white foreground surf foam. Sometimes if the sand, slope, and tides are right, one can wait for a wave to slosh towards the foreground and then get some sky color reflecting on the wet sand for a few seconds before the seawater sinks down into the sand ...David

This is very nice! Great colors in the sky and in the foreground water. Nice to have a spot like this in the hometown.
