I don't remember seeing a shot presented like this before on the forum,it works superbly and I can imagine just how stunning a big canvas print would look.
The image itself is a stunner. What really catches my eye is the stunning clarity between ducks and sky and also the suble variations of blue.
Like this one a lot.

Very much like this Tom. Totally different perspective to these flying birds than David K's image, which I also liked very much but for different reasons. I too see some halos around the dcuks, but it's nothign Tim couldn't sort out in a couple of seconds
Fantastic.

13 repliesThe weather was good; good blue sky at end of day(ish), the birds were scarce in flight all day through. This group shot was when they came in closer.

When I looked at David's one I thought it would be suited better to a pano crop. I like this, but it looks a touch over sharpened on my monitor(s)
Sunshine eh? Been scare here for the last 5 weeks, every day in that period has had rain.
Good weather for ducks

I like it, lovely blue tones in the sky (a long time since I have seen them!) and the formation of the pintails is spot on. Nice one.
cheers

A nice image which suits the frame very well. Maybe a touch more contrast?
Best wishes

A nice little group & I particularly like the presentation. So different from David's post!
