We drove up to Mt Hood yesterday and did some snowshoeing. I had my camera and tripod but was out mainly to get shots of Ellen and Ozzy in the snow. I knew right away when I took this one that it would be a good shot.

She's such a cutie. I'm sure your going to have this framed and on your desk.

How you get those colors to be so true is beyond me (even with LAB). Great expression and then there is a lucky dad behind the camera. Aren't kids just grea? Those of us that have them are very lucky to have blessed with being able to see the world thru their eyes.

Thanks,
Randy, this one is pretty much straight outta da box. I corrected for black and white, sharpened it and posted it. I've been using the Cloudy white balance preset pretty much 100% of the time for the last eight months or so.

Too cute, Mark. Better send her to an all girls school. BTW, my first impression, beyond the cute factor of course, was the color rendition...couldn't be better (however, I am looking at this on an uncalibrated monitor so take it for what it's worth).

It is so clear and correct that she almost looks as if she is standing right in my sceen. Not only is she a cutie pie, but she has an impecable eye for locating sensor dust spots on my prints
I think you should print a closer up version, focusing on the face.
