San Rafael Swell Desert
Taken last Sunday afternoon in the San Rafael Swell.
Anybody know what type of claw/foot patterns these are?

Probably a raven. I love the strong color combination.

Nice work Guy and Jody :-). Jody, really like the shot - I like the colors/textures and the way it feels like it is 'expanding' to the right side - good work!

Was this north or south of the Interstate? This Swell is on my 'I need to stop in for 1 week and get lost and feel the place' list  . I hear the North side is nice and remote!

Great color, texture and patterns. Not what I expected when I read the title - good eye. One of these days I'm going to take a long weekend and spend a little time exploring the Swell more than what I have. It's a fascinating area, especially for those geology buffs amongst us.

I strongly agree with all the positive marks! Sweet use of line texture and light!

Nice lines and texture. I like the little bit of blue in the snow.
