Eh, its not got feathers

Nice and sharp with a nice alert pose, would like more room for the hare to look into, it seems to be looking out of the frame at the moment. like the slight rise of the bank in front which follows the back of the hare....

Ah spring, getting closer to that magic time again. You done well to get close to it, I find them annoyingly skittish, nice and sharp and agree with Phil's comment more room on the right.
Nice one

Hi here is the full frame all 12.4 million pixels with just basic post processing (just saved for the Web in photoshop) so you can see what I have cropped.

Phillip.

Hi Andy it was taken locally on a friend's farm.

Hi Phillip,

Thanks for posting the original, I prefer the extra room around the hare, nice one.

Hi Richard yes they are quite different one was processed with Nikon capture 3.5 and the second one was with the latest version 4-4-2) their is quite a difference how Nikon capture has decoded the raw file, the actual colour is somewhere between the two, it was a very bright green/yellow.

Phillip.

Hi Phillip
You can certainly see a greenish cast to the 1st image and prefer the 2nd image-nice :toast:

Hi Philip
I prefer the first image it has more impact for me. There is plenty of detail in the animal's fur great.
