Another golden (or should I say frozen) oldie.
Early one frosty morning whilst en route to fill the feeders at my woodland feeding station I was looking for photogenic compositions along the woodland track.
Even when just going in to the woods to replenish the feeders I still carry a basic lightweight photographic kit comprising of an SLR (previously a Canon EOS 1V/1N loaded with velvia, now an EOS 5D) together with 28/2.8, 50/2.5 Macro a 90/2.8 Macro lens and a small selection of reflectors, flash, bean bag and tripod.
On this occasion attractive frosty leaf pictures were jumping out at me from all directions and I had difficulty settling on any one long enough to concentrate on taking any pictures, sometimes there is just too much choice.
EOS 1v, 90/2.8 Macro, f/16 @ ?, Fuji velvia (50) rated at ISO 40, scanned with Nikon coolscan V, a slight amount of saturation added and very minor USM in PSCS 2

nice lighting and composition Larry. I like the golden leaves on the left which add interest and balance the picture.
Hi Larry,
It's amazing how a coat of frost transforms everything into a potential photographic subject
Here's hoping we get plenty of frosty mornings this year.
Nice image too, with frost and snow being particular favourites of mine.
