i jsut read some of the specs on the new program,, and it said a new upgraded version of bridge was being introduced as well..

i have not used the lightroom beta, but i was under the impression that it was gonna be the new raw conversion be all, end all, and now this new bridge upgrade...

are they saying they will have two sets of raw convertors or am i confusing terms.

The beta version of CS3 will be available for download on 12/15 for PC, Mac and MAc with Intel processors. You must have a valid serial number for CS2 to qualify for the download. A beta version of Bridge CS3 will also be available.

Much more info can be found here: http://www.rodgalbraith.com

So, it appears that there will be two sets of converters-CS3 beta and Lighroom beta.

Remember, this is a beta release, so there may be bugs or glitches. My understanding is that tech support is not provided, but a user forum will be available.

Bridge is for organizing all your files. Camera Raw is for processing raw files. Lightroom is more of a workflow software that uses Camera Raw to process them.
