This is a shot from a while back of Wrens in my back garden. 350D, Sigma 70-300m, 1/500s f/5.6 at 190.0mm iso200. C & C, advice etc. all welcome.

Hi Michael,
You have done well to get so near to 2 of these busy little birds, espeacially wth only 190mm lens. I can see what you were trying with the OOF foreground but it doesn't quite work for me due to some of the foliage which is sticking up in the birds region.
Sorry to be abit negative

I don't mind the OOF foliage in the foreground (in fact I like looking into their world) but I just think the comp' isn't quite right?
I can't see the whole frame but I think I would crop less above and below the birds.

Hi Michael
Sorry but this does not work for me as I find the foreground foilage and branches detract from the Wrens. I also find the crop very tight on both birds and would have liked a bit more space top and bottom. I do like the idea of the pano crop with the two birds in frame and the nice interaction between the birds. Also not quite sure on the sharpness but that could be my old monitor.
Perhaps not technically perfect with the lower wren being a little obscured by the folliage and a little close to the bottom of the frame, however it's different from the norm and has quite a lot of charm about it.A real intimate glimpse into the world of these endearing little birds.
