You just need to download the huge beta file, and then enter your CS2 serial #. The website will generate a new serial # for the CS3 beta. Both can be performed at:

I would like to try it. But I am still using CS. So I will have to wait for the upgrade. It sounds like it may be worth it. Do you know if the ACR RAW converter has been upgraded/improved upon? ACR usage has been a love/hate relationship for me within CS. I have been using other converts when ACR produces weird results.
By the way Scott, I bet you will be using CS3 much more upon return of your trip. Are you still going to NY and California during the holidays for some photo ops?

Yes, the ACR has been drasticly improved. It even works with .jpg and tiff images in addition to raw. You should download it and use the 30 day trial. The new ACR has a shadow/highlight slider (but with a different name and better).
Yes, I already went to NYC. I was very busy while I was there, but managed to get some good shots of Time Square. I did not feel that it would be appropriate to post a NYC pics thread on a nature photography forum. I had to delay my Santa Barbara trip until my brother is back for his final sememster. I am still planning on going to Utah in a few weeks.
Derek, here are a few shots from my NYC trip. My focus was on the lines of motion in Times Square.

NAPP has a number of videos and other info about new features.

It looks like many of the features in Lightroom have made it into bridge and ACR as expected. I've really enjoyed using Lightroom for management and global corrections. But PS is still needed. They'll both probably release at near the same time so it will be interesting to see what advantages Lightroom has over just CS3 alone.

Nice Pictures Scott,
Wait, where did all those New Yorkers go?
Thank goodness for time lapse photography.
It sounds like you are going to have some good photos ops in Utah coming up soon also.

I'm using it as we speak and I am very impressed.
