my photos keep disappearing

I logged into check my photos for critic and to see everyone else's photos. My photos are gone again. Is something wrong? I just re-downloaded again not long ago (two weeks) Am I missing something?

Marcie, unless photos are copied to the Moderators' Picks or Staff Showcase galleries, all photos are automatically deleted after 35 days from the NPN image critique galleries.

I didn't think it had been 35 days - but I guess it could be
I thought it was only 2 weeks
but it is the holidays
