I downloaded it. It installed easily.
1st I tried to crop some photos. It refused to do that. Hung up
on every picture.

2. I tried the Photomerge to see if it had been improved any.
It took the individual images as usual, ground on them for a
long time, and eventually ditched them somewhere and just quit
with the 1st image showing.

3. Signed on today to try again. I thought that I had a 30 day
trial. It informed me that that this was day number 2 of a
2 day trail period.

Needless to say, I am really impressed.
2007 is shaping up to be a great one what with a new Photoshop and
a new Windows at about the same time.

Perhaps you need more RAM? My mac version worked just fine. I too was surprised to see that I had a 2 day trial (not 30 days).

Guys,

Haven't tried it yet myself but . . . . dpreview had a little blurb on it. You get a 2 day trial, unless you are a registered user of CS2, here's the link, hope this helps.

I just got a new Dell so I'll be waiting for Vista and the new PS to work out their kinks. It's kinda nice not to have constant freezes and hang-ups all the time.

Cheers,
Alex

I have a PC with an AMD 2800+ Porcessor and I also was already a CS2 Registered userand got the new reg # and have the full version of CS3 now. I've not had any of the problems you're having. I Have 2G of SDRAM and two hard drive equalling 300G of memory available. I have been watching other boards of various CS3 users and the problems you describe have shown up from time to time with some users, which leads me to believe it is more a system configuration unique to each user.

I've not had any real problems with CS3 except its a little slow and there are a few bugs. Hope they speed it up, it has some nice features.
