Snow Morning
It was an all or nothing morning as most of the Park seemed to have a thick band of clouds covering the peaks during the early hours, while the south of the Park was cloud free. This was shot at Copeland Lake in Wild Basin, RMNP. Now the clouds have moved back in but hopefully they will break up again this afternoon and provide some opportunities before the winds pick up.

Nice shot Erik,

This gives me some hope for a photo trip to RMNP over my holiday vacation starting this Wednesday. Although the forecast looks like snow for most of the rest of this week, next week looks pretty good so far.

Nice work Erik, at least someone is out shooting in the cold.

Copeland Lake again.

P.S. I just looked at this thread on my PC. The images looked quite different from when I processed them on my laptop. I guess I shouldn't have trusted my laptop. The angle of the screen changes everything. Ugh!

Nice shots Eric. I especially like the one with the fence.

Beautiful images, Erik - I especially like the one with the fence. It looks windy up high, but it actually appears calm where you were. Could it be!?

These have a comforting winter wonderland feel to them - makes me want to get up there again!

It was like a Winter Wonderland 'light' this morning. Very calm, but not a lot of snow. Unfortunately the clouds hung over the mountains and there was no light. Looks like Erik got the best of this storm yesterday.

Tony, you should have waited until 9:30 this morning. Clouds cleared off quickly and it was beautiful!

Looks great, by the way. I love snowy landscapes with blue skies.
