It seems the "Ecola Wave" shot wansn't a big attention grabber - not that I'm surprised. It was pretty strange.
This one isn't. Lots of impact and drama. Hopefully you guys will tell me what you think. These are the Ramparts peaks, in the Tonquin Valley. About as far north in the Rockies as you can get. I thought the B&W treatment worked best here in nearly mid-day light. It's a 3-shot stitch job.

This is wild, Mark! I like it as it is, although I don't know if I'd buy it and frame it.

What is it with you and gorgeous skies??
Fantastic image. No wind at mid-day...you must be livin' right.

Wow. Great contrast. I especially like the left half of this image, and how the mountains look like a giant grouping of rocks...which it really is, but on a much larger scale, eh?

Wow, stunning is a word that easily fits this, Marc.... someone might not buy and frame it, but I expect to see this in an amazing coffee table book or magazine article.
I like this alot. I think it's a slight departure from your other kinds of work, and the nice contrasty B&W is the real show grabber here. My first thought was "Ansel Adams." Of course I like his work Are you sure you didn't overwrite his name with yours
I think someone would like to hang this on their wall, esp. a pano style (tighter crop above and below but still mirror images).
Looking forward for more

Spectacular

What do you guys think about including a little more room on either side of the peaks? I think I may have cropped it just a little tight and I have more image to work with. Thanks for all the comments.

Marc,
You took the words right out of my mouth. I looked at this several times and each time I was a little distracted by the tightness of the crop, especially on the right side. With a little tweaking, this would just be awesome.
It appears to need a little room on either side. That is the first thing I thought when I saw the image. Other than that, a wonderful sky, and b&w seems very appropriate for the scene.
Whoa Hey, Marc, I am definitely not hot on B&W anything, so I don't often offer comments on 'em. THIS, however, puts my lights out. It's a spectacular presentation. Way to go.

More room on L & R would be nice. I also did a window crop and losing some of the top and bottom made it a different image than this but I liked it a lot as well.
This is a keeper for sure.

Oh, I would also consider trying to lighten the top and bottom if you keep it like this - the clouds in the upper middle that are grey seem out of place to how bright and contrasty the clouds are with the rest of the image. Just a thought.
Bet we see the results of the extended crop in E,S & S.....
