If you had to pick just one of these images (the two longer ones will be cropped just a little) for a calendar image featuring streams and forests in the NW, which one would you go with. Thanks. I can't decide.

Aside from that, what you are asking is no small decision, I can see why you can't decide. hmmm... Its defintely between Radiance and Paradise for me. I'm going to have to go with Paradise as my fav for a calendar because of the flowers.

I gotta go with Radiance. Paradise is nice too, but the larger sunburst in Radiance I think balances the image better.

I vote Radiance. Really shows both subjects (forest and stream) very well. Paradise adds more color and the horizontal format would probably layout better for a calendar page, but I like Radiance better.
For me , Radiance has more instant grab for my eyes.

Radiance, the most visually interesting. On a calendar, it has to be interesting to look at for 30 days!

Ok, so Radiance seems to be the popular choice. People LOVE sunbeams! This will likely be the front cover of one of the several calendars I am working on for 2008. I particularly like the vertical format for the cover, actually. The image dosen't lend itself to cropping 12x14 quite as well as "Paradise" does IMO. Still, I think I can make it work pretty decent (if not, at least I have a solid second choice). The other images will likely see some calendar exposure in the interiors. Thanks for your opinions

I gotta go with Paradise. So many of the photographs of NW rivers and creeks are nothing but green and wet. Paradise gives a splash of color that I feel is needed. They are all great though.

No possibility of a bad choice here Marc. I might be tempted to choose Paradise because it is very beautiful and lends itself to nice horizontal format which is great for calendars.

Man, you guys are making it tough on me now. Paradise - 7, Radiance - 6 votes. Thanks for your opinions and I'll just need to determine which image works best cropped a little. I'm thinking Paradise does. I think Radiance might be a little more eye-catching though, especially at first glance.

I chose Paradise instead of Radiance, mainly because it's a landscape. if they had both been the same format, I would have picked both and really screwed you up!

Paradise all the way, dude. You get awesome color from the flowers and the center cropping of the water will look AWESOME on the front cover. Radiance is very nice, but not enough color for me.....

Paradise would be my vote though I'm not sure it would be the best choice for a cover. Radiance is bolder and more suitable for a cover since it really calls for attention, but the sunbeams in trees has been done by others before and would be less interesting to me for a whole month. (Don't forget your polling audience is biased!)
