Has anyone here been to any of these locations? IF so, how were the photo opportunities? And, for those of you well traveled, what is the best place in the world to photograph large and potentially dangerous reptiles?

Hey Brandon, I worked in remote area in Borneo right now and I'm Indonesian, so sorry for my poor English...
Indonesia is a great country with thousands of island to explore, I can't tell you where the best places to capture the right moment here, but in Borneo you'll find a lot of places to take a shot and I suggest you go there around October untill May.

Other than that, you'll find too many fog cause by local farmers here. The downside is those months are on rainy season.... but that should give more experiences... not just with the journey but with mosquito also...

But if you want photograph a large and dangerous reptiles it should be Komodo Island, where the Komodo Dragon lives.....the largest lizard of its kind today...... I never been there, hope someday I will......

And hope this information help too.....
