Mule Deer
I don't take wildlife photos very often, but today I was in the middle of a group of mule deer and managed to get a few handheld shots. It isn't Dan Walters' quality, but I was happy to at least get something. I'm not sure what the one on the bottom right is doing. Anyway, I hope you are all enjoying the snow.

That would make a wonderful Holiday Greetings card!

Wow. You actually had visability of more than one inch in front of your camera lens today? Seriously, nice shot.

Nice shot Erik. I like how the snow on their backs adds a highlight.

Nice shot Erik I am proud of you :toast: look they didn't even bite! Just kidding buddy :> I hope you are making it through the BLIZZARD. I am down in Louisiana on a dreary rainy humid yucky 70 degrees. Everybody have a safe holiday and Merry Christmas to all!!

Hey - that's pretty darn good for a landscape guy. Yeah, that one in the bottom right looks all tangled up. Love the snow on their backs - it adds a lot to the image, suggesting the weather conditions.

I'm definitely enjoying the snow - got 20" of it here! Hopefully I can get out of the neighborhood for some sunrise photography tomorrow.

I know I was just joking with him. I think that deer was scratching it's ear with her hind leg. Like a dog does, but only she knows. LOL :jump:

I really like this shot. I like the snowy enviroment and the deer on the right side.
