Awaiting the Tide
Awaiting the Tide

Last one from Donna Nook until the new year.

Taken in the gloaming but the shallow tide arch makes the shot as it allowed me to enhance the head silhouette.

Spotmetered of the seal's body and then sunk 3 Ev giving a fast shutter speed, the black body and the deep colors.

Merry Xmas to all.

I just can't get excited by these blobs of blubber, but this one hits the spot a lot better than any I've seen for long time.

Have a good Christmas too Tom :toast:

Hi Tom

Nice image, works for me and good to see you trying for some unusual variations on the usual Donna Nook seal images.

:toast:

Merry Christmas

I love the simplicity of this shot - a bit of red, a bit of blue and bit of black. Fabulous

Lovely Tom, super colours, only minor nit for me anyway is that I would trim a bit from the top, just below your ©, just to decentralise the horizon....
