Spanish Sunset
Couldn't resist the urge to shoot some post-blizzard sunrise/sunset shots. My work schedule limited me to sunset thursday, so i targeted Cuchara, but a flat tire in Walsenberg held me back by a few miles.
I-25 had just reopened, and a total mess south of exit 70. The sunset made it worth the annoyance of changing the tire in the snow!

Bummer about the flat tire, but it looks like the effort was worth it. Very nice color and reflections. I really like how the foreground snow is picking up the light in the first one.

Great looking sunset. I love the reflection in the foreground.

Thanks, guys. Rick--i didnt even notice the flat since i was driving through snow; i heard a funny noise that i was hoping wasn't my transmission (since i was in 4wd) and when i pulled over thats when i noticed the smoke from the rear flat! Oh well...

Great light in both images.
