The Zoolights at the Portland Zoo are fun to visit if you're a member and get in for free..... not sure I'd pay.... we had a a great time.

Did a few abstracts shots but I was disappointed with the 20D for this. My older Nikon Coolpix the lens stays open and the "sample rate" is smooth while the 20D isn't smooth at all, but made dots instead
Still a cool effect but wasn't what I expected the camera to do.

The abstract is interesting, but I also like the first one.
As an aside, Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma also puts on a nice zoolights show for those in the Puget Sound area. We once spent an evening shooting the lights in Tacoma a couple of years ago. Had a lot of fun. It's quite challenging to capture the mood with the camera.
